Janice E. Trent

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Janice Evans Trent, 59, of Charlotte died Wednesday, May 20, 1998, at home after a long illness.

She was a native of Charleston, W.Va., a graduate of Stonewall Jackson High School, Charleston, a retired school secretary, a member of Pritchard Memorial Baptist Church, Charlotte, and was also known as Daisy, a member of the Carolina Clowns.
Surviving: husband, C.B. Trent; daughter, Marjorie Trent Frick; son, Curt Trent; four grandchildren.

Memorial service was to be 1 p.m. today at Pritchard Memorial Baptist Church with the Rev. Dixon Free officiating. The body was donated to the Human Gift Registry at Eastern Carolina University, Greenville, N.C. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Children and Youth Fund, c/o Pritchard Memorial Baptist Church, 1117 South Blvd., Charlotte, NC 28203.
